Controlling, wanting to be master,

their actions end up in a disaster

of broken relationships. They try to turn your day 

into darkness, your peace into an obscured ray.

The mind that revels in chaos, 

mischief, madness and every ruckus,

thrives on making a mess,

creating tension and high stress.

At first you might find it confusing,

the odd behavior and intentional gaslighting. 

Beginning to question your own reality,

walking on eggshells to regain some stability,

you grab on to caution and make it your friend.

Changing yourself, you're willing to bend

to regain lost peace. But the chaotic mind wills it

to take first a piece and then another, bit by bit

consuming the life-energy of its prey. 

Their goal, their aim, is for you to stay 

until you are overcome by their night,

with no more connection to the source of Light

to fight. You think you can change or save them

from their dark world? Their chaos stems

from their own choice to serve the creature,

severing their connection to the Father, Creator

of the kingdom of heaven within. They chose

the ego, a self-centeredness that arose

from a depth of desire to be seen as strong,

to be venerated, and held higher than the throng.
