Guard your heart with every diligence, 

for from it flows life’s existence. 

The choices you make are of the utmost importance,

and the company you keep vital to the balance

of your soul’s inner core, the Spirit of life within.

Vanity and falsehood with a cart rope is drawn sin,

a dysfunctional way of life leading to emptiness,

a sense of loss, and feeling meaningless.

Guard yourself, many aren’t loyal.

Guard yourself, or they could become lethal.

“Misery loves company” is not a cliche.

Draw hard boundaries if you desire not to stray

into the den of wolves feening for your life’s blood.

Seeing the light in you, they come in like a flood;

a whirlwind of darkness cut off from the Father, 

the only Source of abiding life. They gather

around you to siphon your spirit-energy, but don’t 

let them! A parasitic nature is their core, so they won’t

be able to reciprocate anything you give.

They are takers, knowing only to receive. 

If they give, it’s only for self-seeking ends.

Watch their energy and spend

time observing how you feel with them. If left in confusion,

questioning reality, leave their folly and self-inflicted delusion.

Fix your mind on the Most High for just and true is His Way.

Guard yourself in reverence and to Him forever say,

“Abba, in all existence, only You are holy.”

Truly, of all your love and reverence only Yah is worthy.
