Love Letter to the Warring One
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not fight according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but mighty in Elohim for overthrowing strongholds, casting down reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to ha’Mashiah.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
I have found that when warring against thoughts and strongholds of the mental plane, those leading to dysfunction in both mind and body (separating you from the pure presence of Yahuah within), it is not enough to only think of the Word of Truth. This is a lesson the Holy Spirit has been imprinting on me, but the revelation came only a few days ago. Prior to that, I’d kept falling back into a certain dysfunctional behavior even though I’d thought of Yah’s Word while slipping into action contrary to Life, having been lured by my own desires. I am, however, grateful for the most recent circumstance because I was brought through to a vital lesson.
This time, I focused on receiving answers to the following questions:
Why did I do that, again?
Why, when I thought about the Word, did I still persist in dysfunctional behavior?
Why, in that moment, was I not able to control fleeting feelings that I knew would lead me down a path I would regret?
Why, why, why?
The beautiful response from Yah’s Spirit to those questions was simple,
“You must speak the Word.”
Several times over the past years during deep sleep when in the spirit, I had various dreams and experiences where I spoke scriptures aloud or called on the name of “Jesus” in order to regain control of my own limbs or break free from darkness. It hadn’t occurred to me that while in the throws of temptation in the waking world I should translate this method of speaking the Word aloud and not just think about it, hoping I’d stop myself from doing whatever worthless act I thought pleasing in the moment. I thought I could remain strong enough to overcome because of the strength of my relationship with the Father.
I’m here to tell you, that if Yeshua Himself had to speak the Words of Yahuah to fight against the darkness, so do we. In all adverse circumstances; whether in a hostile situation with others or warring against your own carnal nature. You must speak the Words of Life out loud.
But Yeshua answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of Yahuah.’”
Matthew 4:4
There is a vibration, a frequency, sent out when speaking the Word that engenders a shift in the mental state and by extension the surrounding atmosphere. The Word has the ability to alchemize energy, transforming darkness into Truth-Light.
“It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
John 6:63
That old rhyme, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me,” is a complete fabrication. Words are amongst the most powerful energies in all existence. They have the ability to either create light or form darkness.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.”
Proverbs 18:21
Human existence, as we experience it in the now, is driven through communication. This is done, in great part, through words. Although body language is of great importance, it also tends to be a display of the mental state and energy of the person displaying such.
Words are an essential part of communication.
Many have been condemned by their words.
Many have been vindicated by their words.
Vows are taken, testimonies written, ideologies juxtaposed … all of this through words.
Since the mental plane gives birth to the physical one, words are a vital portal bridging that gap. Perceiving this, one should realize that a vast majority of wars are not the ones fought with guns, bombs, tanks, and the like, but the ones fought daily with words (mental states warring against other mental states, ideologies against ideologies).
I have witnessed people being persuaded out of their right mind, ushered into decisions and acts that did not benefit them in the least, but they would not be convinced otherwise. I have been one of those people. In hindsight, I cringe, but forgive myself, because in those days, I’d been clueless, blind to the reality of things.
In this world, words are used to sell people pipe dreams. They are used to manipulate, to tempt, to lure unsuspecting souls and to exploit them for “gain.” Words are also used for good, to heal, to encourage, to bring people up from the pit of despair.
Through the mental faculty, there is much power in the words we utter. Therefore, speak Truth over yourself, especially in moments of distress. You will have time to reflect later, but in situations that you feel are beyond your control, a strong internal temptation or where something or someone is antagonizing you, attempting to instill fear or doubt, threatening you, lying about you, etc., speak the Words of Life!
Speak the Word, and call on Yahuah. Our Father will do what only He can do on your behalf.
We are NOT alone. He fights for us. We only need to say the Word and be still.
“For there are three that bear record in heaven (within), the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are One. And there are three that bear witness in earth (without), the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.”
1 John 5:7-8 (within, without — clarification added)
Remember,
“‘no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you shall condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the inheritance of the servants of Yahuah, and their righteousness from Me,’ declares Yahuah.” Isaiah 54:17
