Love Letter to the Foolish
“The fool has said in his heart there is no Elohim. They have done corruptly they have done an abominable deed there is no one that does good.” Psalm 14:1
It is important that we understand that when the Word of Yahuah says that the fool says that there is no Elohim in his heart, the Word speaks of the heart representing the soul, which is the seat of our mind, will and emotions. Someone who says in his heart that there is no Elohim is someone that, though they may profess with their lips that they believe in Yahuah, and might attend church, in their heart, meaning in their mind, will, and emotions they behave as if there is no Yahuah.
How can we discern this behavior? How does this belief manifest itself?
1. Attending church but little adherence to the Word
2. Tempting others or seducing others out of their righteous mind
3. Using many words without knowledge of the Truth of Yah’s Word
4. Speaking without any real meaning — meaningless words
5. Acting without thought of consequences
6. Not resisting temptation
7. Lacking foresight
8. Not seeking the Most High
9. Not KNOWING the Most High
10. Working iniquity and sin
If you are the foolish one in this case, maybe you’re a church leader, a member with a position in the church, or a layman — someone who professes to be Christian but your deeds and words demonstrate that you do not believe that Elohim sits high and looks low on all your actions. You do not believe that Yahuah sees all nor that He is Omniscient.
If you ever wanted to look at all the characteristics of a fool, you can find them throughout scripture, especially in the book of Proverbs.
The Word of Yah says that the children of Yahshar’el, when they were coming out of Mitsrayim/Egypt, were stiff-necked. They behaved foolishly, like people who do not call on Yahuah and who doubt Him, because in their heart, they do not know His power nor how amazingly beautiful and kind He is to those who love Him and obey His voice.
The foolish have not been perfected in love. Therefore, they will often be fearful and unbelieving. A lot like the children of Yahshar’el when certain spies were sent to scout out the land of inheritance and returned to report what they had found. Some of them came back with an evil report and said they were grasshoppers in their own eyes compared to the size of the people of the land, believing Yah to be incapable of delivering them from the hands of their enemies. They limited the Most High in front of the people. This is a fool’s action. They limit Yah in front of others.
If you are foolish, you also tend to put much importance on the things of this world, being vain in your existence. You are hasty with your mouth and love to speak. You do not take pleasure in doing good but in going along with the get along.
Such individuals are cut off from before Yah’s face.
“He who walks with the wise shall be wise, but the companion of fools suffers evil. Evil pursues sinners, but good is repaid to the righteous.” Proverbs 13:20-21
In 1 Samuel chapter 13 where Saul presumptuously makes an offering to Yahuah before Samuel came down to him, Samuel the prophet says, “You have been foolish. You have not guarded the command of Yahuah your Elohim which he commanded you. For now Yahuah would have established your reign over Yahshar’el forever, but now your reign is not going to stand. Yahuah shall seek for himself a man after His Own heart … because you have not guarded what Yahuah commanded you.”
Samuel told Saul that he acted foolishly.
Are you like Saul? Do you go against the express Word of Yah? If so, you act foolishly and are lacking in wisdom.
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask it of Yahuah, that gives to all men liberally, and does not upbraid; and it shall be given him.” James 1:5
