Love Letter to the Light

“In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men. And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome It.” John 1:4-5

To the Father of lights, my Father,

To Yahuah, El Elyon,

Our El Shaddai,

Our King.

May You live forever and ever,

Your Truth for generations,

Your Justice eternal,

You, You alone are worthy of honor and glory.

Your Great Kindness has healed me,

Your Peace has kept me,

Your Love permeates my very being,

You, You alone are my Home, my Aim, and my Rest.

Besides You, there is none else,

Outside of You are clouds and thick darkness,

From You comes Light,

Of You flow the Waters of Life,

With You is Freedom,

You, You alone are Truth.

Arise, Yahuah, and let Your enemies be scattered,

Arise, and let the Light of Your countenance shine upon Your people,

Arise, and let Your Goodness and Your Mercy follow Your set-apart ones,

You, You alone are my Front and Rearguard.

Oh Yahuah, how excellent is Your Name in all the earth,

My heart knows It well.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with Whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning. Having purposed it, He brought us forth by the Word of Truth, for us to be a kind of first-fruits of His creatures.” James 1:17-18

In Yeshua’s name and by the power of the Holy Spirit, so be it. So let it be.
