Love Letter to the Lonely
There is a difference between just being alone versus being lonely. The former is a physical state, while the latter is mental and spiritual.
Many people assume that because they are alone it must mean they are lonely. However, these individuals should take a good look into themselves. Do they truly feel loneliness?
If your answer to the aforementioned question is indeed yes, then this letter is for you.
Prior to understanding who I was with the Most High, I also had bouts of loneliness. This happened even when family and friends that love and care about me were around. As stated above, feeling lonely is a mental/spiritual state not a physical one. Therefore, it didn’t matter whom I had in my life at the time. I still felt lonely.
My journey out of that mentally debilitating state was a path taken through Yah’s Word, and in developing an unbreakable bond with Him.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is Yahuah your Elohim who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:8
“Yahusha answered and said unto him, ‘If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and my Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him.’” John 14:23
“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.” John 14:17
“Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Matthew 28:20b
The above verses are among many throughout scripture that reinforce the importance of walking with Yahuah. Though one may be physically alone at times, they are never, and I mean never spiritually alone.
Life is spiritual.
The spiritual realm informs the physical one. This is why those who have been spiritually born again, and espoused to the Most High, can be without companionship, yet still flourish mentally and spiritually.
*NB: This does not replace assembling with other believers.
“And Yahusha said, ‘You shall love Yahuah your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.’” Matthew 22:37
Seeking Yahuah and making Him your number one priority is the solution to your feeling of loneliness. Yah fills the hole inside of your heart. He makes you whole and alive forevermore.
“He also put eternity in their hearts…” Ecclesiastes 3:11 (partial)
I firmly believe that there is a Yah-shaped hole in the hearts of mankind. Their souls long for reconciliation with the Most High. Some aren’t aware of this, and try to fill the hole with all sorts of things that will never truly satisfy. And to the few that find Him, He becomes their Home and essential Refuge.
I testify as witness to this. Through my journey with Yah, I can confidently say, He is my Home, my Hope, my Soulmate, my God, and the true Love of my life.
When you come into the knowledge that such a powerful, kind, and compassionate Being loves you and desires to make His home with you and in you, you have an assurance that you will never be or feel lonely again!
“Herein is love, not that we loved Yah, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10
