The Reprobate Mind

From the spiritual to the carnal mind

The natural man in the flesh to bind

In the fleshly mind, make a reprobate

All they want is to take, take, take

And take some more, never to give

A lack mindset, all elusive

Hateful, full of maliciousness

Envious, all covetousness

Unmerciful, yet desiring mercy

Unstable, yet seeking consistency

Are you gonna tell ‘em or shall I?

Living in a fairytale won’t justify

Any of their thoughts or their actions

And none of their strange inventions

Since they love what doesn’t profit

Let them alone to wallow in it

A sow taking pleasure in a dirty pit

A dog returning to its own vomit

They don’t feel sorry, neither should you

Conscience seared to everything true

Surrounding their heart is a callus

Therefore, expect them to be callous

No more humanity, entirely beast

Chaotic, killing after their feast

On an unassuming soul in their net

Malignant, malicious, appetite wet

To destroy the light they managed to find

Nothing as cruel as the reprobate mind
