To Love An “Enemy” (Part I)
“Love your enemies, and pray for those who
persecute you,” said the Word. This you must do
“so that you may be the sons of your Father in heaven,”
forgiving your enemies seventy times seven.
I did not really understand what it meant
to love an enemy, but with Yah much time I spent
as the Holy Spirit guided me;
a revelation leading to true liberty.
For you to know how this truly goes
requires understanding of how love flows,
while living with a new and transformed mind.
At first uncomfortable, but in time you’ll find
that loving an enemy naturally pours forth
from the inside of you. It won’t be about their worth
as you see it, but about the Truth that they have
their being also in the Father. He created vessels of
honor and vessels of dishonor, and made
rain fall on the just and the unjust. Because you laid
up treasures in the heavens, you’ve received gifts
from the Word of Yah, chief among them a shift
in mentality. From the inside core, you can love,
much like the Father of Lights within and above.
This love transcends the carnal attitudes of offense,
and holds all in full view of Truth. Without pretense
or partiality, judging thoughts and intentions
of the heart, you perceive all spirits through actions,
words, and energy. From this vantage point
with the eyes of the Spirit of Truth, an heir joint…
