Love Letter to the Abominable
“These six things does Yahuah hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6:16-19
What does abominable mean?
The original meaning is from the Latin word abominabilis, from abominari; ab- ‘away from’ + homine (from homo ‘human being’) — ‘inhuman, beastly.’
The word has now come to mean — causing revulsion, detestable, loathsome, hateful, etc.
If anyone partakes in any one or all of the seven acts listed above, they will become detestable and repulsive in the eyes of the Most High. Indeed the Word of Yahuah tells us that the wrath of Yahuah abides on such that do these things.
This series is called “Love Letters to the …” so right now you may be wondering, if that is the case, why am I speaking about the things Yahuah hates? Well, because Yahuah is Truth. Truth is Light. And Light makes manifest and exposes the darkness. The darkness holds within it all the detestable and unrighteous acts that beckons the wrath of Yahuah.
“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21
“For the wrath of Yahuah Elohim is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” Romans 1:18
The Word of Yahuah tells us that He and Yahusha Ha Mashiach will love us if we also show our love for them by guarding the commandments of Yahuah Elohim. But that if we continue to do ungodly acts of unrighteousness and especially those that are an abomination unto him, our portion will then be the Wrath of Yahuah that is on the sons of disobedience.
“Because of these things the wrath of Yahuah Elohim is coming upon the sons of disobedience,” Colossians 3:6
At this moment, the very question that may be in your mind is, What is the wrath of Yahuah? You may even ask, How do I know if I’m experiencing it?
“At Horeb you aroused the Adon’s wrath so that He was angry enough to destroy you.” Deuteronomy 9:8
“It is Mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.” Deuteronomy 32:35
Throughout scripture it is evident that when Yahuah’s wrath is upon a people, He causes devastation, destruction, and sometimes complete annihilation. This is Yahuah’s righteous anger as He is a just Judge, who by no means pardons the guilty.
For this reason, this may be my longest letter yet. The gravity of the situation is the difference between life and death. If you are in abomination, every second could mean death, both in this world and the world to come (the second death). This is a double destruction and double death, both physical and spiritual, the end of which is the lake of fire and an eternal separation from Yahuah.
There is hope.
“Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Adon Yahuah, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die, O house of Israel?’” Ezekiel 33:11
“While it is said, To day if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.” Proverbs 3:15
If you are reading this letter sincerely and desire to change your ways, now is the time! Do not delay!
Say this simple prayer with me:
Dear Heavenly Father, I want to be pleasing unto you. Please forgive me of my sins and my iniquities, all the things that are not pleasing to you. Change my heart and make me like your Beloved Son. I believe that Yahusha died and rose again to save me and I receive His salvation. Cover me and wash me clean in Yahusha/Jesus name, amen.
