Love Letter to the Faithful

The faithful remain committed to their cause. They have purposed in their heart to do what they have said they will do. They keep their word. This makes them reliable, responsible and most importantly, trustworthy.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of Yahuah.” Revelation 19:11-13

“But Yahuah is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3

“The One who calls you is faithful, Who will surely do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Faithfulness is a divine attribute.

You, who have embodied this characteristic, I salute you. You remain committed and have not allowed temporary distractions to waylay you from your word, your goal, your aim.

I have seen a handful of traditional and near-contemporary Chinese dramas where many of the characters within various storylines have demonstrated a resolute determination to die for their cause. I have always felt a certain magnitude of respect for these people who found dignity, honor and faithfulness far greater than a few extra moments of vanity on earth. There is something truly beautiful and soul-deep about those who find faithfulness worth dying for. Commitment to a word given, a covenant entered into until the end, come what may, is indeed glorious.

Respect and trust shall be given wholeheartedly to such an individual.

You, the faithful one, are truly a king or queen among men and women.

It takes strength of character to withstand our darkest of hours in this realm. To do so while remaining steadfast to one’s cause and covenant is divine.

I liken this to a couple that has made vows to love, honor and cherish one another. The upholding of these word oaths in the face of strong temptation and temporary distraction, is worthy of honor. The one who easily breaks this vow for pleasure sought with someone outside of the covenant is not reliable nor trustworthy. That individual should be kept at arm’s length. If they can go astray and break such an intimate vow, who will be able trust them in other areas of lesser importance?

Indeed, it would be foolish to do so.

“One who is faithful in very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in very little is also dishonest in much.” Luke 16:10

You, who remain faithful in all that you say and do …

You are loved.

You are honored.

You are cherished.
