Love Letter to the Mindful

To be mindful is to be aware of yourself, your circumstances or any other aspect of life beyond the physical and the visible. A more in-depth look at mindfulness considers the mind scape or mind wave of the human being.

The mind scape refers to the landscape of one’s thoughts and imagination, while the mind wave concerns the frequency and intensity of brain waves and their patterns. These patterns are formed by electrical impulses emanating from neurons in communication and are directly related to emotions, thoughts, and images in one’s mind. These thought frequencies can have vast fluctuations both within the individual and from person to person. They demonstrate the existence of various mind states.

Not all states of mind are beneficial. In fact, many lower frequencies of thought can be deadly.

Discernment is vital in helping to determine what is a good and acceptable mind. It requires spiritual exercise, that is, the testing of spirits (energies).

This “testing” requires a standard. That standard is the Word of Truth. Words uttered produce sound. These vibrations enter the cochlea, which then sends signals of sound frequencies as electrical impulses to the brain, which later interprets them. The brain is made up of around 75% water. Sound passing through water produces light waves. Truth-Light, produced by the Word of Yah, is the best and most significant source to test spirits.  Discordant frequencies (lies) are put to the test and found lacking in integrity and vitality when a being, established in the Word of Truth, hears them. The ears are not the only body part used to test these spirits, but the whole being, fitted in Truth, has eyes all around and within, scanning body language, facial expressions, and other invisible elements that only the in-dwelling presence of the Holy Spirit can decipher.

“For the Word of Elohim is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from His sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”

Hebrews 4:12-13

“If I say, ‘Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night,’  even the darkness is not dark to You; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with You. For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother's womb.”

Psalm 139: 11-13

The Word of Truth is the mind of the Holy Spirit, of Life. If this mind is in you, then the Word in you tests the spirits (energies/frequencies), and as a result, you will know whether they are beneficial. There is a mind of death (very low frequencies), which we will look at later in this letter, but I encourage you to choose the Mind of Life.

Ultimately, the choice is yours. However, know of a surety, that whichever mind you choose, its programming will manifest in your world.

I must tell you that the carnally minded are among those who suffer the most, because the programming of the fleshly mind leads to death, spiritual first (bringing sorrow, emptiness, pain, anguish, anxiety, fear, low self-worth, lack of self-control, etc.) and then physical. They may appear outwardly wealthy, rich, and “living the life,” but the inner world of the fleshly mind is at stark contrast to what is displayed.

Mind of Death

“For of this sort are those who creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

2 Timothy 3:6-7

“The woman, Folly, is loud; she is seductive and knows nothing. She sits at the door of her house; she takes a seat on the highest places of the town, calling to those who pass by, who are going straight on their way, ‘Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!’ And to him who lacks sense she says, ‘Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.’ But he does not know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.”

Proverbs 9:13-18

In the two examples above, we see the results of lust and folly. Both the “silly women” and the “simple” men who “lack sense” are brought to ruin because of the ensnaring quality of a mind having its root in the flesh. These sad souls allowed their desires and lack of wisdom and morality to rule over them and were lead to their death as a result. By the work of their own hands and a rejection of the Word of Truth, they were brought out of mindfulness and into the flesh, making themselves prey to countless diabolical spirits that take advantage of the weaknesses born from their mind programming.

All minds are a program.

The mind of the flesh is a debased one, lacking eternal, true wisdom and full of infirmities. When brought into such low frequency of thought, the desires of the flesh take center stage, and the soul is trapped. The entity in charge of the fleshly mind program is the dragon, “the serpent of old called the Devil and Satan.” (Revelation 9a) The more one partakes of fleshly desires, the stronger that mind program grows, and the more control the soul relinquishes to the owner of that mind, to the dragon, the ruler of darkness.

It is not impossible to break this cycle. However, the road to deliverance is made more difficult the more one indulges in the practices of that programming, fulfilling the wants and whims of the ego.

“Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience, you are servants of the one whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?”

Romans 6:16

Hope in the Mind of Life

This is why the Word says,

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Yeshuah Ha’Mashiach: Who, being in the form of Elohim, thought it not robbery to be equal with Elohim: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

Philippians 2:5-8 (emphasis added)

The Mind of the Anointed is one of servitude, humility and obedience.

If you adhere to the Spirit of Truth, serving in humility, and not turning to the left nor to the right of His Way, then you will have the mind of Truth, the Mind of the Anointed, and the Word of Yahuah will grow within you. You will be freed from the programming of the carnal mind and “translated into the Kingdom” of the Word. You will be given authority as a son of Elohim, one whom He calls friend. Within His presence, He shares of Himself — love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, compassion, grace, lovingkindness, power, self-control, and true abundance forevermore.

He is the Higher Mind, and there is none comparable.

No, neither shall there ever be.
