Love Letter to the Patient
“Good things come to those who wait.” Violet Fane
Or as I’d like to say, “God things come to those who wait.”
You have embodied what is, to me, a divine characteristic - patience.
Your patience has and will continue to divinely reward you.
In a world that desires the instant, get this quick, and receive that now ideology, patience will keep you.
We all know a friend that rushed in and eventually felt the consequences. Some of us have been that friend. Whether it was rushing into an unfruitful endeavor, a toxic relationship, or a hectic and high-stress work environment, because of a lucrative salary; each decision proved more of a lesson than a blessing. We’ve witnessed what happens when “fools rush in.”
I’m happy that you have learned the lesson in patience, and that it has and continues to pay off.
I find that patience goes hand-in-hand with contentment. That is to say, though you desire and may not have, you have learned to be content with your eternal now.
This is heaven.
This is bliss.
Understanding that all that you need is within, and that wanting and yearning will, if Yahuah allows, bring to you - in its time - what is yours. I liken this to a small toddler whose parents know which clothes, food, toys, etc. their child desires, and who buys or brings to their child the necessary thing at the appointed time. The child has no need to cry or whine because she knows that Mom and Dad love her and will give her whatever is necessary in due time.
This also is peace, and it truly does surpass all understanding.
Patience, contentment, and peace - these three.
Once found, they are a health to those who have done the necessary work to discover them.
“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in Yahuah; I will take joy in the El of my salvation. Yahuah, the Adon, is my strength; Who makes my feet like the deer's and makes me tread on my high places.” Habakkuk 3:17-19
I am my Father’s and my Father is mine.
“And Yahuah came down in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name, Yahuah. And Yahuah passed before him and proclaimed, ‘Yahuah, Yahuah, an El compassionate and showing favour, patient (emphasis added), and great in kindness and truth …” Exodus 34:5-6
Patience is sacred.
