Love Letter to the Rejected

Rejection is the dismissing or refusal of a proposal, idea, person, etc.

The first point to note here is that rejection … is also a spirit. It can be diabolical in its manifestations in your life.

If you are unsure whether the spirit of rejection has its tentacles anywhere in your life, here are a few symptoms:

  1. You feel a strong need to cling onto relationships, be it friendships, romantic partners, etc.

  2. You idolize people and feel like you cannot live without them.

  3. You avoid situations where there is even the slightest possibility that you will lose or be abandoned in some way.

  4. You find it hard to kindle, grow and keep genuine relationships with people.

  5. You find yourself doing things to please others even at the detriment of your own needs, wants, and value.

If any of the above five characteristics ring true for you, you may be oppressed by the spirit of rejection, and should pray Abba Yahuah (Father God) delivers you through Yahusha Ha Mashiah (Jesus Christ) and the power of the Ruah Ha Qodesh (Holy Spirit).

The second essential point of discussion about rejection is that it can be a blessing. I say this because if you are walking in alignment with the Most High’s Ruah and people happen to abandon you or break their relationship or connection to you, that is a spiritual severing of ties. It is done by Yah to keep you in perfect peace. Do not be sad when these people leave your life or don’t accept you into theirs, this is the will of the Father. Not everyone can go with you on this journey to the Promised Land.

The children of Yashar’el wandered for forty years in the wilderness due to stubbornness. Only Joshua and Kaleb from the congregation that left Mitsrayim (Egypt) made it into the Promised Land. This is a solid example to you that you don’t and won’t have hordes of friends and family with you as you continue to grow and journey with the Ruah. The Spirit of Yah divides and separates spiritually, not carnally (by flesh). The Holy Spirit separates the holy from the profane and the clean from the unclean. When you allow the Spirit of Yah to work, there will be a distinction made among your family members, friends, etc.

Some will leave you, and some you will leave. It is a part of the process. It will feel like you’re being rejected, but you are moving from faith to faith, strength to strength and glory to glory.

Being reconciled to Yahuah Elohim through Yahusha will cause rejection of and by many of the people and things you hold dear in the life of the old man.

You are becoming a new creature.

“Therefore if any man be in Ha Mashiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
