Love Letter to the Defeated

Never give up.

I know right now it may seem like life has broken you down. You may feel like there is no hope, that tomorrow will not bring a brighter day. However, being at rock bottom, there is no further way down. The only direction is up.

I would like you to do one thing … believe. Believe and know that your life will improve. It will change for the better. This will happen, only if you change.

There is a saying that has come to mean a lot to me lately, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.”

These are some of the most important words I’ve ever heard, and they are brimming with truth.

If you want anything to change in your undesired situation, you must change first. Your world is being created from the inside out and not the other way round. Your effect over the realm around you is more powerful than the realm over you.

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he …” Proverbs 23:7a

As mentioned in a previous letter, our heart is our soul, which is made up of our mind, will and emotions. In order to change, you must first have a mindset shift. Many of the limiting beliefs you place on yourself, start in your mind, having been influenced by your emotions. Your emotions could have been affected by something you either heard, saw, or experienced. They could even have been influenced by negative self-talk. Whatever the source, diabolical emotions can have negative effects on our mind and will. The manifestation of these thoughts can then be seen in our daily life.

Now that you understand the change must take place first in your thoughts, let’s figure out how to go about changing them. It will take work, but anything done repeatedly over time will become second nature eventually, resulting in a mental shift and by extension a changed life for the better.

The basis is an understanding of how valuable you are by just being here.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid, therefore; for you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works; my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:14

“Therefore, if anyone is in Mashiah, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of Yahuah.” Romans 12:2

The above verses of scripture represent an understanding and restoration of the soul. A soul which was once a part of a sick and dying world. A soul that has been through it, but has allowed the Word of Yah to renew them.

This restoration and renewal is the essential foundation for a mindset shift. From here you will be on a journey to further self-discovery and a true understanding of your value. The more you study the Word, the more you will grow in the ability to walk in confidence in this realm. It is this confidence in Yah that enables you to persevere through even the toughest of times — failures, misfortunes, etc. — times that work together for your good. You will come to see that nothing is really that bad, but that every and all situations happen through you for a good future and expected end.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Yahuah, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahuah, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Indeed, no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The Most High goes with you and is in your midst when you obey His voice.

Once again I say, never give up. Always hope and be in expectation. It is your thoughts that give birth to the manifested life around you, therefore pay special attention to them.

Declare a thing and it shall be done in Yahusha name and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Ask.

Seek.

Knock.

It shall be given … you shall find … and it shall be opened unto you by the Father.
