Love Letter to the Healing
Healing is a process, a journey that many embark on. Still, countless others remain unaware of their need for it, believing themselves perfectly whole.
However, in a world such as this one, where things have been turned upside down, it is imperative that one seeks healing.
To you who have taken the initial steps, I encourage you to persevere.
To you who have been on the journey for a month, a year or many, do not despair if you find it’s a never-ending one. You will be in continual need of healing because of the millennia of trauma that has been perpetuated toward humanity. I confess to you that this path, though long and arduous, will continue reaping dividends in your life.
The beauty is in the Way of discovery.
“In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the Tree of Life, which bore twelve manner of fruits, and yielded its fruit every month. And the leaves of the Tree were for the healing of the nations.”
Revelation 22:2 (emphasis added)
Love Letter to the Disciplined
Self-control is a vital manifestation of the working of the Holy Spirit in your life. You have received of this spirit-energy because you are at Oneness with Truth.
Resolute self-control alights upon you from the higher planes of existence. It enables you to keep your emotions and impulses in check, affording you clarity and peace of both mind and body.
Be still.
In the quiet, you will receive messages to which only a disciplined mind has access.
Love Letter to the Renewed
All thanks, honor and praise to Elohim, the Most High Yah.
You have been transformed.
The Father of lights has chosen you, and you have rejected the prince of darkness, the egotistic, fleshly mind bent on pompous self-absorption, lies, condescension and manipulation.
Although life’s circumstances were initially made difficult by systematic training from birth, a training in this world’s narcissism, you have endured and overcome. Now, you are continually being renewed, going from strength to strength, and from glory to glory.
Through the Word of the Most High, Who is Truth, the eyes of your spirit, once blind and bound by the carnal mind, have opened. Within each moment, as it is called now, you see. You understand that the physical realm is but a microscopic representation of the transcendent realms of spirit-energy.
Love Letter to the Light
To the Father of Lights, my Father,
To Yahuah, El Elyon,
Our El Shaddai,
Our King.
May You live forever and ever,
Your Truth for generations,
Your Justice eternal,
You, You alone are worthy of honor and glory.
Your great kindness has healed me,
Your peace has kept me,
Your love permeates my very being,
You, You alone are my Home, my Aim, and my Rest.
Love Letter to the Kind
Love Letter to the Faithful
The faithful remain committed to their cause. They have purposed in their heart to do what they have said they will do. They keep their word. This makes them reliable, responsible and most importantly, trustworthy.
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of Yahuah.” Revelation 19:11-13
“But Yahuah is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians 3:3
“The One who calls you is faithful, Who will surely do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24
Faithfulness is a divine attribute.
Love Letter to the Hopeful
“Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.” Hebrews 11:1
In this letter, let us focus on the former part of this definition of faith, that is, the substance of hope.
What is substance?
Substance is defined as “the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence.” Anything that is real, tangible, and solid within this realm can be touched, handled and experienced. This substance is reality, not fantasy, science fiction nor a figment of our imagination.
Like the expectation of rain when observing dark grey clouds, hanging heavily in the sky …
So is the substance of hope.
Love Letter to the Hoodwinked
“Then Yahusha said to those Yahudim who believed Him, ‘If you stay in My word, you are truly My talmidim, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.’” John 8:31-32
Deception and delusion are the way of this world; a constructed web of lies as demonstrated in movies like The Matrix and The Truman Show. Hollywood and the entertainment industry have no qualms showing their audience just how fabricated this world system has become. However, only some have an eye to see and ears to hear.
Like the world, so the people.
From birth to adulthood, we are placed in a “factory” of sorts. One that molds the mindset, creating a people to think and to act in the way of the world. If you do not have another mindset or system of beliefs, you are then molded to think in the manner prescribed by the “powers that be.” Sometimes, I feel like humanity has become automatons, doing the same thing year after year, generation after generation without ever questioning their actions or the root source of their beliefs. Why do they celebrate this? Why do they commemorate that? The surface response is always taken at face value, with only a choice few going deeper and transforming their beliefs and behaviors accordingly.
Love Letter to the Patient
“Good things come to those who wait.” Violet Fane
Or as I’d like to say, “God things come to those who wait.”
You have embodied what is, to me, a divine characteristic - patience.
Your patience has and will continue to divinely reward you.
In a world that desires the instant, get this quick, and receive that now ideology, patience will keep you.
We all know a friend that rushed in and eventually felt the consequences. Some of us have been that friend. Whether it was rushing into an unfruitful endeavor, a toxic relationship, or a hectic and high-stress work environment, because of a lucrative salary; each decision proved more of a lesson than a blessing. We’ve witnessed what happens when “fools rush in.”
“And Yahuah came down in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name, Yahuah. And Yahuah passed before him and proclaimed, ‘Yahuah, Yahuah, an El compassionate and showing favour, patient (emphasis added), and great in kindness and truth …” Exodus 34:5-6
Patience is sacred.
Love Letter to the Rushed
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
If you feel rushed, stop running.
Rest a moment and be still.
Take a breath, a deep one.
And another.
And yet another.
Where are you going in such haste?
Why?
Once you do arrive at that desired destination, what else will you then seek after?
The grass is just as green where you are now, even if you feel it is lacking in luster. Experience the current pasture, because inside there is a lesson. Wherever you find yourself, there is always a lesson, sometimes covert, that life teaches. However, if you are in a rush to experience the next phase of the journey, you will find yourself in a very similar situation of discontent at the next destination.
Love Letter to the Hater
You see, love is sacrificial, with limitation. That is, love will not sacrifice its intrinsic value, identity and essence of essential longevity.
Love is unselfish, therefore it will rid itself of anything that is selfish.
Love is order and structure, therefore it will rid itself of anything that brings chaos.
Love is alive, therefore it will rid itself of anything that is dead or dying.
Love is eternal, therefore it will rid itself of anything that is not.
Love … will rid itself of anything detrimental to its infinite survival.
In order for you to continue in real, true, and pure love, you must rid yourself of anything or anyone selling you the contrary falsely so-called.
“But if anyone keeps Yahuah’s word, the love of Yahuah has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Yahuah:” 1 John 2:5
Love Letter to the Pressured
To live according to the expectations and dictates of others when you are no longer a child is a ridiculous amount of pressure for anyone.
Just live.
Why hold yourself hostage to the accomplishments and caprice of others?
The Mango tree, planted in its season, will have its fruit at the appointed time. It doesn’t look at what the other trees of its kind are doing.
It simply continues to grow.
Love Letter to the Dreamer
I love you.
You haven’t allowed the vitriol and negativity of others to thwart you from your passion and purpose.
Keep going.
Never cease to be the you that fulfills.
Don’t look back.
Exist in the eternal now.
Your dreams will work for you, if you are firm, never doubting and without fear.
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. Because fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.” 1 John 4:18
“… love is from Yahuah, and whoever loves has been born of Yahuah and knows Yahuah... because Yahuah is love.” 1 John 4:7-8 (partial)
Love Letter to the Needy
A need is something necessary for your survival.
The very definition of a needy person is one lacking the necessities of life; someone who is in poverty or considered poor.
If you have been labeled as “needy,” I ask that you question this monicker that’s been placed upon you.
Is it that you indeed lack food, water, shelter, and clothing? Are you considered a beggar out on the streets?
If you’ve answered no to any of the aforementioned questions, then you are not needy.
Now if the “neediness” is akin to a certain clingy nature or attention-seeking behavior, then this letter is for you.
When you cling or seek attention and validation from others, it is due to an ignorance of your own power.
You are a powerful being, with everything you need already built inside of you. Of course, this world will manipulate you into believing otherwise. But do not be deceived.
“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that You have given me because You loved me before the foundation of the world.” John 17:24
Love Letter to the Busy
Be still.
Busyness is a common occurrence in our current world. We always have a million and one things to do and less than enough hours in the day to get them done, accounting for quality sleep time and social hours with friends and family.
“But Martha was very busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities; and she approached Him and said, ‘Adonai, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part.’ But the Adon replied to her, ‘Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered and anxious about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part [that which is to her advantage], which will not be taken away from her.’” Luke 10:40-42
In our minds, busyness is necessary in order to get things done. However, upon further investigation, we must be honest with ourselves and realize that though this may seem to be the case, not every errand and every task is beneficial to our ultimate goals in life.
Love Letter to the Insecure Part II
Know your value.
You are of more worth than you can even imagine.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31
When those around you refuse to value your time, affection, or presence, you have the right to go elsewhere. If you are unable to leave due to work or some other obligation, focus your energy on whatever task you have at hand.
Insecurity comes as a result of ignorance. Ignorance of one’s own value, and by extension, a perception of others’ importance exceeding that of one’s own. Love for your own self has taken a back seat when you have esteemed others over you. Their ideas, their opinions, their lives become a gauge through which you measure your own self worth.
Love Letter to the Abandoned
Abandonment is a blessing.
I know it may not seem that way now.
However, think of it as Yahuah’s way of moving the people who aren’t for you out of your life.
It is a part of the eternal now.
It is flow.
It is infinitely better to go with the flow than to beat against the waves.
It takes more energy attempting to keep the ones that want to leave in your life than to allow them to go.
Let.
Them.
Go.
Have that good cry and bid them goodbye.
Love Letter to the Procrastinator
Get it done.
Whatever it is, do it. Stop making excuses, stop choosing the mundane over the important, and with all that’s within you, stop allowing constant distractions to waylay you from accomplishing your goals.
There’s nothing more disappointing than knowing you could be on a vastly more elevated plane when it comes to accomplishing your life goals, but only having yourself to blame for not getting there.
“Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.” Proverbs 6:6-8
The aforementioned proverb really captures an important lesson you can learn from the ant - accountability to one’s own self. Knowing that tasks need to be completed in order for a full harvest at the appointed time, and ensuring they are done forth with, is at the forefront of climbing out of the pit that is procrastination.
Love Letter to the People Pleaser
A people pleaser is someone who feels a strong prompting to please others, even to their own detriment.
If you are such a person, this letter is for you.
“The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, ‘Love others as much as you love yourself.’” Matthew 22:39
In order for you to love yourself, you cannot waste your life constantly trying to please others.
The truth is other people’s desires are for their own good, not yours. Their wants and their needs are solely based on what they deem advantageous for themselves. I dare say, they love themselves more than they could ever love you in many a circumstance, leaving you holding nothing but empty baskets after you have filled theirs.
NB I do not discount a bonafide friend or two and those certain family members who know you and want the best for - they are on an entirely different plane than the individuals I highlight in this letter.
Love Letter to the Loud
“Silence is golden,” are words of an ancient proverb that perpetually rings true throughout the ages.
Gold is one of earth’s most precious metals. It never corrodes. It has innumerable valuable properties and uses, and it cannot be destroyed. In the aforementioned proverb it is made comparable to silence.
A powerful comparison, indeed.
If you, however, find silence “awkward,” and feel the need to “fill” it with any number of sounds and words, you lose power, credibility and respectability with each unnecessary syllable and utterance.
“In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.” Proverbs 10:19
